In 2008, Burlingame United Methodist Church is celebrating 100 years of making disciples for Jesus Christ. A grand "homecoming day" was celebrated on June 8, with the presence of three District Superintendents, two former pastors, a city council member and Burlingame's mayor, along with a host of others representing our diverse worshipping community. Other centennial events include a May 4, 2008 organ concert (on our recently refurbished pipe organ) featuring a number of organists who have played our organ over the years, and a September 13, 2008 Taiwanese Folksong Choir concert celebrating our English-Taiwanese partnership.
