Contemporary Worship Service at 9:30am

Join us for an informal hour of worship with contemporary music in our Worship Center Sunday mornings at 9:30am. Coffee and goodies are served before and after this service. Prayer, Scripture, Song, Sermon and monthly communion, make up this inspirational hour led by our pastor and members of our praise band Healing Stream. Nursery care is available for the very young and children are invited to attend Godly Play or are welcomed to remain in worship with their parents/guardians. Start your Sundays and the coming week off on a positive and inspirational note. The coffee is hot, the band is tuned up, Pastor Jeff Kunkel is ready and we're all waiting to welcome you to this lively hour of worship.

"This is a beautiful church in a wonderful location. I've made many friends and have enjoyed Bible study, Backpackpalooza, Friday night "Evenings at the River" service and the Sunday morning contemporary service. Many of the songs the band performs are written by the worship leader. The music is very uplifting. This is not like the church I grew up in. Before I attended this church I knew something was missing in my life and I'm glad I found BUMC."

"I just started going to this church recently and I have found the people there to be genuinely nice and very caring. They do a lot of outreach into the community including a dinner on Friday eveningss and distributing backpacks to needy children in our county. The music service on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings is wonderful. Very uplifting. You always leave there in a positive frame of mind and happy that you went.
